Who's preaching?
A bunch of guys with a public profile making a gesture saying "racism is bad.....dinna" is a good thing IMHO.

If I post the phrase "Racism is bad" on a public message board, am I preaching?

I never said that.

My opinion doesn't really matter because I'm not the one spending about 5 seconds of my life before a game taking the knee.

All I'm saying is that it winds the racists up. That's a good thing.

I don't believe that's why they've changed their minds.
I think they decided to protest in a different way.
But due to racists booing England taking a knee, they've decided to show solidarity by joining in.

Mebbe they like winding up racists.
