Has anyone seen that Abbot has gone there as a "consultant" as well? Relegated by Christmas I reckon.

Oooooo I hope that comment doesn't come back to bite us QLD!!

Let's hope we get them early in the season that should help matters

If you are going to pitch Birchnall and Doyle against Ardley and co and its a battle of wits the only certainties are that Birch will change things up at 45 minutes and Ardley will at 87 minutes. Of course Ardleys team will probably go on to fluke a 1-0 win against the run of play having been overun in all areas for most of the game!

Second best of luck to him. Hope they win the playoffs after we get automatic promotion.

AFC wimbledon were promoted via playoffs into League One in his fourth season in charge, after just barely scraping into the playoffs. They're still there. He oversaw the close of an absolute disaster season at Notts at a time when the entire club was a disaster zone, and bounced back into the playoff spots two years running. In any league higher than this one you would say that was a very successful two years.

He was let go here because the owners had found someone they thought would be a better manager.

So to me it makes sense that a team like Solihull would give him a shot. Hope it works out.

There could be a bit of extra spice in Notts v Moors because of the 'risk-averse' line.
IB was just answering a question and trying to be diplomatic, but that might go down as well as 'obtuse' did with the Warden in The Shawshank Redemption

I don't wish him luck, it was good riddance from Notts and I don't care how he does henceforth.

Shows what his true level is National league
Totally incompetent, signed around 50 crap players, relegated us, then blew our best chance of a return not once, but twice

Soooo he found his level? The one WE are in? He may have signed close to 50 players but I can’t agree that ALL were crap.
Just another nonsensical post from an Anti Ardley lunatic.
