<> Scott Parker <>
Fulham manager Scott Parker relationship is said to have deteriorated with the Fulham board,
with a huge rift after the club were relegated from the premiership.
It could be Parker is on his way from the club.
I posted on another thread that Jonathan Woodgate's contract expires this month, at Bournemouth,
& that Scott Parker was on the clubs radar.
With Scott Parkers situation at Fulham, Bournemouth could be interested in the manager, also
West Brom supporters have said for their club to go for Parker.
But West Brom owner has already blocked 3 managers getting the job, after the board agreed terms.
Luke Dowling was the Technical & Sporting Director at West Brom, he has just left by mutual
consent, after 3 years at the club, he fetched Slaven Bilic to the club has manager, who
gained promotion to the premier league.
Luke Dowling was the only member on the board of directors with a background in football.
He persuaded the board into Chris Wilder being manager, but the West Brom owner
Guochuan Lai vetoed the deal, saying Wilder's relationship with his previous employer
the owner of Sheffield United was not a good one, with Wilder clashing with the Blades
owner.
So then Luke Dowling went for Michael Appleton, manager of Lincoln City, but after
finding out that compensation had to be paid to Lincoln City, the West Brom owner
Guochuan Lai stopped the talks, not willing to pay compensation.
So next up was David Wagner, who was set to become manager of West Brom, but
another club Young Boys of the Swiss league came in for Wagner, so he went there.
So now West Brom don't have anyone in the board room with a football background,
so West Brom fans are livid with the club for allowing Luke Dowling to leave.
It seems Luke Dowling left the club, after being over-ruled too often, thinking I'm
out of here.
[So similar to Rotherham's board, no one with a football background]
Can't see Luke Dowling being out of work long.

I posted on another thread that -
West Brom have approached 49 year old Derek McInnes, the former Aberdeen manager,
who is without a club, after leaving Aberdeen in March 2021.
So no compensation to pay.
Alex Neil the former sacked manager of Preston North End, also been mentioned.
