Why is it that Italy play in the style of a good PL team (fast paced, high press) yet England played against Croatia like an Italian club side from the 1980’s (pedestrian passing between the centre backs interspersed with brief burst of speed in attack)?
England should easily seal qualification tomorrow (Scotland look atrocious) but Southgate needs to get them playing much better to have a chance in this tournament.
