I am concerned...probably the most concerned I have been in my life following united.
we have been told that we cast the net wide to get this management team...so that means either-
a) this is the best appointment from the candidates available
b) no other decent names were in the frame or wanted the job
c) we have been lied to and the club have hand pickes who they want in.

Not a single one of these options are palatable with me. I am concerned and the club has recognised the fans concerns and have said they will work hard to prove these concerns are unfounded.

It is up to the club and the team to put these worries to bed, I am willing to give them the opportunity to do so as there is not much we can do about it now. I wish them all the luck in the world, I will support the management and the players....but the ball is firmly in TA and MO's court to make sure these concerns are unfounded. Make no mistake, this season is all on them and I hope that we are hailing them as maestros by next May...only time will tell!

Yeah totally agree MO and TA have made the calls over the last two seasons and targets have been met .They have made the call again for next season and I am willing to give them the chance to succeed and hope they do but if they don't it's on their head.

I agree with him about the first half of your sentence,in all my years of following United only defeats at Hampden and ST's latter days have hurt me more than i'm feeling now mate and that's the truth.
Honestly i'm not meaning you in particular but posters that support any regime at Tannadice should in my opinion have more respect for posters like Stokie Boy who everyone knows only has the best interests of his club at heart.
Its very sad that posters on here will turn on each another when there are huge problems caused by someone running our club who we all FN know is not even a supporter of Dundee United and loves to divide and conquer.

Come on mate he is not a supporter of utd so should not get a job for utd lucky you were not picking our manager when wee jum got the job. or signed most of our players managers etc.If utd only employed utd supporters we would be in trouble FACT.

I completely understand where everyone is coming from. I'm a glass half full person, so I struggle to be too negative about things before they happen. If the stories are true (and I have no reason to believe/not believe you as I don't know you in the slightest), then I can 100% understand why you are angry/upset/frustrated/disappointed, etc. But I can't make my opinions on he said/she said stuff, I have to wait until I hear/see something for myself.

Well i did say that Tam was the man and the ex Cowdenbeath failure was our number 2 and gave the day they were being appointed.
That has went a wee bit under the radar but the same sources have told me about The Big Man being an FN tyrant so i just thought i would pass it onto the board for better or worse.
As i have said many times before some posters would rather not hear anything bad coming out of Tannadice and would rather i just clapped like a seal but that's no for me sorry.
I fully accept i may get cremated for my negativity on this board so its only fair to point out that back in the day me and Sid James put up all the stories about Goodie's return so its never always been just negative posting,FACT.

Don't think you only post negative and a lot of you'r posts and poems are really good and you also get some great info on the club but is not always bad news having a bit of a tyrant at the club worked well with wee jum fergie also a bit hard to work for nice guys don't always succeed not saying TA will do well at utd but he has pretty decent record over last two seasons of hitting targets know could all change next season with dodgy manager appointment but think he deserves the chasnce.

BTW i totally agree that is a terrible way to feel about the man running our club,i have only felt like that once before in my life and that was during the ST era.
