Sometimes its wiser not to play all your best cards at once. I think we always need game changers on the bench. If went a goal or two down with our strongest side on the pitch, we’d have to count on the weaker subs. I gave this game a miss fearing the worst. I hope the team and media don’t get carried away.
Also keep the games on bbc, we always do badly on itv.. i’m sure there is a stat somewhere proving this.

Bookies now now make England 2-1 favourites although I think the best value must be Belgium at 7-1. Of all the teams left in the competition, I fear Belgium from them all.

Italy, Belgium and Spain ahead of us I think but we can only possibly play one of them.

We could still see Switzerland come through that side of the draw.

I agree with you. He did come over as a pleasant enough lad. Just shows that you shouldn't judge anybody in the public eye harshly unless you have actual proof of their character. We're all guilty of it though.

    Silvio Berlusconi described Merkel as “an un f u c k a b l e lard a r s e” whilst he was Italian Prime Minister 🤣

Grealish is the most gifted English player since Gazza. But we also have Saka, Mount, Foden and Phillips who will grow in stature. Games don't come any bigger than England v Scotland or England v Germany.
I still think the Capybara is not attack minded as I would like, but we are in a quarter final so that will do for me.
I have watched all of our games at home, the pub has about seven screen's inside and out but you can't follow the game so closely as you can in your own living room.

Agreed. I am guilty of that
