Even during the Erikson incident it was "The English referee was quick to call on the medics". Presumably if it was a Johnny Foreigner ref. he'd have booked Erikson for diving.

Also, I'm growing increasingly resentful of the guffs, if that is possible.

There's been some decent games, some decent stories developing, but it is fu cking impossible to relax and enjoy the fitba as my mind is always "how does this impact the guffs nae winning it".
Everything is filtering through that prism for me.

Czech Republic v Denmark is shaping into a nice second half, yet I canna just kick back with beer and watch.

My mind is racing thinking "what's the best outcome".........see Denmark is probably the best option for beating them at Wembley but in normal circumstances I'd probably be wanting to see a Czech comeback.
