Well it was a wee bit of a problem with Jake Doyle-Hayes because we failed to meet his wage demands and he now plays for Hibs who did.

As always we all have a successful DUFC at the top of our list. In a few months we might have that. We might not. We might be somewhere in the middle. Just have to see how it goes.
As far as I can see only ADS is making a big deal of positive and negative attitudes, the majority I think are hopeful, but, are trying to discuss areas of concerns.
One of which is exactly what shape this squad will be in a few months, we all agreed we needed to replace with better to start the season off well, and at the moment we have not done that, and any attempts to recruit thus far have been met with a polite off you feck

Yeah but what's your suggestion? Pay players more or the same as a club that sells twice the number of season tickets we do? I can tell you, if that happened this place would be full of criticism that the club are operating at (even more) unsustainable levels.

Have to agree. If people feel unhappy or negative about things at the club then that is totally their feelings and all valid. But the laptop, analyst, stats banter is pretty backwards imo. Anyone who knows how football has evolved will know how important the 'science' behind football is these days.

If we didn't have all of these things in place, people would say we are not taking advantage of the tools at our disposal. People come out with stuff like "football is an easy game" but its not. At the professional level there is so much more to it than any of us can imagine.

Surley positive only works for something you can control is yourself, not one of us has control something like your football team, we all go to the game hoping we win and if we play well its a bonus, but no control how we play. If you don't have a good enough team on the park positive or negativer matters not a jot.

I'm not saying we don't need more here for cover et cetera BUT Chalmers came back from injury at the end of last season and was exceptional. I'd imagine he'll (barring injury) play a much larger part of out first team next season.

Club cant win with these situations mate. Plus people will spin it to suit their narrative.

With JDH some say we cant afford him. Some say we refused to meet his wage demands.

If you read the qoutes from TC on the subject, he said the players demands were more than we were willing to pay in terms of parity within the squad. Surely a sensible approach. If he was a flop and we had him on a 3yr deal at 2k a week (total guess) the club would get pelters.

Robson going would be a blow, many don't rate him but he did a solid enough job last season in his first year in the top flight, very experienced player in a key position, one we don't have a decent back up for

Agreed mate. He is a great option for us and I'd say he should be our first choice right winger. Desperately need a Conway type out on the left though.
