Yeah I realise they beat Croatia and Germany. Thanks for that. Both teams you've just admitted are not as good as they have been. Germany have been utter sh*te this tournament and Croatia are a million miles away from the team that was in the last World Cup. So back to my point, let's see how they fair when they come up against probably the only proper decent team left in Italy. They've been very very lucky with the draw they've had. Playing teams who couldn't muster more than a single win in the tournament in the knockout phase. Much like the World Cup where they drew the mighty Columbia then Sweden. It really was 'coming home' that year as they only had Croatia to beat before the final. Sound familiar?

Well time will tell, Ukraine actually won 2 games but I'd be not picking, they also ran the Dutch close, a ****e Germany demolished Portugal.
Italy were ****e v Austria, Spain have been ****e against everybody.
Denmark have now won 3 games.
Time will tell as I said.
I think England are a lot better than most on here and just saying it as I see it.

I meant group phase. They won once vs Macedonia. If you can't see England have had it easy then fair enough. We'll agree to disagree, but that side of the draw was outrageously in their favour once all qualified teams were through. Denmark wont be easy but again, they aren't one of the worlds best. Probably England's toughest test so far however.

I do agree the draw has gone well for them but winning the group meant a tough tie, you can only play, beat, lose whoever comes next.
As I have said, I think they are better than what some on here think/say.

Time has told over the last 6 decades, surely they need to prove it first before this it's coming home bollox?
They haven't played a single one of FIFA's top 10 ranked sides in this tourney and looking back they haven't played against a top 10 team in their last 11 matches, it's easier to look good playing weak teams
But go back further and the last 2 top 10 teams England did play against they lost both without scoring.
Given they are the top ranked team left they should be embarrassed if they don't win it

There was a thread three years ago on the World Cup and this thread is an exact replica. Easy draw, smashing pub teams, ‘Coming Home’ bollox etc etc. It’s almost like some sort of higher power has said to them ‘Look I gave you an easy as schit draw three years ago and you phucked it up - here have another go’. Last World Cup they only played two decent teams yet managed to get beat three times by them FFS.

No one can tell me that if they’d been in the other half of the draw with France, Belgium, Portugal, Spain, Italy etc that they’d have made the final. No chance.
