As for the Danish press making a big thing of the lack of Danish fans at Wembley -----a football match is never won on the terraces so just get on with it. The Danes will have the same number of players avaialble to play as the English will -----it's a simple game.

Peter Schmeichel apparently reckons that Denmark are favourites.

Schmeichel is talking out of his big fat backside, the bookies decide who's favourite, not Schmeichel, and they have England long odds on.

Maybe I'm reading the wrong papers, but there does seem to be a lot of hot air emanating from the Danish camp, so much that it gives me the impression they're seriously windy about their prospects in this game. It's the quiet ones you need to worry about.

My anti-Jock rantings are very much tongue in cheek Sub, I've had numerous holidays in Scotland, I love the place, I've met numerous Scots, never met one I didn't like or couldn't get on with yet. But while that tw@t Sturgeon runs the place I won't be going there again.

Just a little note at the side here .

As you know in the sunshine, like we have here ,back when I was 'more sportive'. Saturdays were always afternoons at the pool, in the water ,then football, again, the pool and football, In those days we had lots of Danes, as volunteers, and may I say lots of blond Danish girls. So the football was between a group of Danish ,the Israelis and the English, 5 a side was a must watch! But! The Danes were always top class ,with their ball control, passing, even times were walking it into the net. So tonight ...........??

English bookies always slash the odds on anything English as they know lots of English folk will back them, but I'd bet the odds in bookies in other countries aren't the same. Similarly the English press big up English players like they're world beaters. When a foreigner who we've hardly heard of signs for an English club suddenly they're the mutz nutz.
I'm with you in thinking we'll win if we play well (not guaranteed) but I take anything the bookies are offering with a hefty pinch of salt. Same with the media.
