I said yesterday that what England had so often failed to do was “find a way to win” in the last 55 years.

Well last night they did.

Tremendous bottle when really required.

I don’t think the Italians ageing central defenders are going to enjoy our front four and all that pace.

I hope they finish the job and completely get the monkey off our backs that’s been there the whole of my footballing life.
