Thread: Summer Transfer Window (Stephen Glass’ first)

Dont you think its strange that were going with just 2 recognised CBs and Considine!? Mcrorie can play CB but it's not a role he's familiar with. Not to mention we only have 2 main strikers. Hope Ferguson leaves and we get like 3-4M

I find it stranger that from the two teams per half in that pre season v ICT , that Gallagher didn't play in either ?

This squad remains seriously imbalanced. To suggest anything else is just denying reality.

For Glass to suggest we have a squad capable of competing over a season is frankly either delusional or treating us like fools.

Naturally, as per, the local press completely fail to challenge this party line from the club.

We are 1 injury away from disaster up front and 1, maybe 2 at a push at CH. That’s just not good enough given the clubs injury history and the laughable suggestion we can rely on Devlin.

Considine first choice CH? Give me strength.

Of course this situation may change - I certainly hope so - but, as we stand today, I’m very disappointed with Cormack, Glass and the club regarding the current state of the squad...

You are much mistaken . Considine's ability to hold the ball with composure, to anticipate player movement & lay off match winning balls are legendary . His pace alone is second to none.

Will fit in perfectly with Glass's vision of football. I dare say.

It appears that there was another game going on at the same time, on the adjacent pitch at Cormack Park, on which Gallagher and Jenks played. Sounded like it was versus our U18 side

Gallagher is only probably just back training in the last day or so as I imagine he will have been given some time off after the Euros.

    Ok. And Devlin ?

Glass said in the post match interview he was happy because the squad all had time on the park .?

No mention of where our expected first choice Central Defenders were ?

This has become a HUGE issue !!! ( Clappy clappy , like )

The English clubs are only just beginning to buy players and so are the huns and tims. There will be a knock on effect and then other players will start moving.

As things stand we've signed players out of contract.

    Bit of patience required Moog.
