There aren't separate entry and exit points in ASDA or Tesco or any supermarket. There's one entry / exit point with a flimsy barrier defining one direction of flow for entry and another for exit.

In a typical football match the flow is only ever in one direction - inward at the start and, for sake of argument, for the first 20 minutes of the game. This direction of flow is reversed 20 minutes from the end until the place is empty so never cross.

In the event of any emergency both sites could empty very effectively and the in flow direction of ASDA is immediately reversed to allow out flow to seed the exit.
