At their age, it probably is.

So what are they doing to make them idiots?

    Embracing the virus!

ps: I will not get in to an argument with you about this because you tend disagree with everything I say.

There were/are a few, (serious scientists), who argued that should have been our M/O, from the very start of this pandemic. ie: Shield the elderly and vulnerable and just go about as business as normal. They argue that not only is vaccination not particularly effective, but that it also encourages the virus to mutate. Personally, I don't agree and much preferred the ''stay at home and hide'', method. Besides, MMR and Flu jabs have always seemed pretty effective?

Sage finally admitted this is a possibility in a meeting a week or so ago, the transcript was/is on the governments own website. Countries that have vaccinated the most now seem to be having the most cases. If vaxxed do encourage mutations then the worst thing you can do is have a load of vaxxed people indoors together.

Mutations might be less severe, but then again they might not be.

I think it's pretty widely accepted now that outdoors is safe because the virus needs to accumulate in a high volume to pass from person to person, so football matches should be OK, but obviously lots of people crammed into pubs afterwards might not be a good idea.

I think Mapperleypie hit the nail on the head with the post after yours where you called them idiots, as they are only doing what the new rules allow them to do. If you think the new rules are wrong (and that remains to be seen), maybe you should look elsewhere for the idiots.

But when you see posts like the one from Banjopie, you’ve got to think it’s all a master stroke from the government; get people to blame each other instead of them.

That's got to be the plan. The whole personal responsibility thing is complete horses4!t in a pandemic, the public need to be all on the same page otherwise it falls down rather quickly. It's going to cause division amongst the public and deflect blame from where it truly lies.

If you think that personal responsibility is horse4!t - You are a bigger fool that I took you you for. We all have to do our bit, yes the Government have been sh!t but so have many many people been totally irresponsible and helped the virus to spread. Grow up man!!!
