    given that the PL are the side who asked for the delay to gather evidence in the first place, and got it granted,
    then they asked for a further delay and we dont know what the outcome of this was,
    my guess is, they don't have anything to back up their side of the argument. They have probably been told by their legal team that they are screwed, no doubt talking to the club and the buyers now trying to get a compromise.
    The club have used this to their advantage, the CAT case will now run first and it will be in public, if it exposes all the dodgy dealings.
