The problem with the old handicap system is that a golfer having one excellent round had their handicap slaughtered and they were stuck with that handicap for the rest of that year. At end of every golfing year every golfer’s handicap apart from Category 1 golfers had their handicap increased by 2 shots.
    Agree with this.

Last night I noticed a topic in the General News section of Pravda had been ended after several interesting posts.
The topic was headed Dundee FC - Social distancing in the Stands. The topic was closed down by Scottswiss. I do not have a clue who he is.
Another topic was set up headed “The reply I got from Scottswiss” https://www.************.co.uk/topic...comment-477523
There were several very interesting and informative posts until once again Scottswiss closed down the topic.

Bit off the fairway with Monifieth - my home club is Inverness.

The new handicap system is too hard to fathom.

Played 9 under over Sat/Sun and went up.

I'd rather be buried in a tangerines coffin alive next to Gunboat.

In what way is it difficult?

If you had good scores going on and went up you must have had better ones coming off.

Do you use Scottish golf app?

    Very easy to work out.

Now have 3 handicaps, a handicap index, course handicap and a playing handicap.

    Tell me how that’s progress?
