I know it was v Elgin but Fuchs Hoti and Mochrie blended really well together.

So another clean sheet and we never really conceded any real chances, but until we get a midfield that can control a ball and take charge of a game, we are going to struggle. Against better opposition, if we concede that much possession then we will lose goals

Well that was seriously underwhelming. Created virtually nothing the whole game.

    Well a win… but fuxache.

Concerning team choices, tactics and performance AND seriously not good enough tonight.

However 4 wins in games we would probably have struggled in at times in the past, like all of the bigger clubs.

Credit to East Fife tonight, they did well.

That is one thing, don't think many teams will win all 4 games, so there is a year on year improvement. But still a lot of work to be done

Tbf every Premiership team bar Livi are on course for 12 points. Our group is a lot weaker this year as well with us being the Premiership team so we should be winning all four games. Scraping past teams like East Fife and Kelty is a massive concern. Seems very much like the Utd of last season. Creativity zilch.

Starting the wrong players tells me he either believes in them or he's giving them one last chance to show up.
Sadly I think its the former not the latter.

We may have won all 4 games and some see it as progress, yes it probably is, but ironically progress in a LC group isn't going to change things for the league campaign coming up except maybe holding onto the fragile confidence in the support. We don't seem any closer to knowing what our first 11 is.

Firstly well done to Tam for winning 4 out of 4 in our group i know it was weak opposition but we have phucked up against similar teams in the last few years so he does deserve credit for a 100% record.
We all know only too well who run's the club and i can only hope he does not tell his Head Coach that no signing's are required based on the results and performances v lower league teams in this competition but that is the worry i have.
My son has told me that some of our more positive fans on other social media outlets are calling Tam MR 100%,i promise i will join in with these sentiments if we even go undefeated after our first 4 league games.

4/4 is great. Delighted for Tam. But holy f uck that was woeful tonight. Would barely give a single player pass marks.

Harkes, Pawlett, Clark as a front 3 gives me real nightmares. Chalmers, Mochrie, Shanks is much better. Hopefully just a case of spreading out minutes.

Signings in 3 major positions essential, but overall a successful start to our season. Bring on the Sheep.

Signings badly needed but unfortunately we've only signed a 35 year old centre half and a 33 year old back up keeper since the end of last years summer transfer window. Covid or no covid, that is absolutely not good enough for a club like Dundee Utd.
