It’s always like that - they commentate for the video, not the audio. Will say happy he balls gone, but not for who; never say where the ball is on the park, long gaps in commentary etc.

Concerning team choices, tactics and performance AND seriously not good enough tonight.

However 4 wins in games we would probably have struggled in at times in the past, like all of the bigger clubs.

Credit to East Fife tonight, they did well.

Harkes, Pawlett, Clark as a front 3 gives me real nightmares. Chalmers, Mochrie, Shanks is much better. Hopefully just a case of spreading out minutes.

Signings in 3 major positions essential, but overall a successful start to our season. Bring on the Sheep.
We have far too many mediocre players on our payroll. Far too many. Fewer players and better quality is what we need.

And, just to add, we could offload 6 or 7 players in the first team squad, add 2 maybe 3 real quality experienced players, SAVE on wages overall, and blend 2 kids in max at a time. Wages saving and better football. That's what TA should be aiming for.

(Not saying we could offload 6/7 players at once but if we'd started 2 years ago we'd be well on the way by now)

Benji, Edwards, Mulgrew, Butcher, Hoti, Fuchs, Shanks, Sporle, Freeman, Mochrie, Chalmers, K Smith, Neilson are all players that will help us progress. The rest are bottom half Premiership players at best and many of them are on contracts to 2023. Fair enough if they are squad players but our 'strongest 11' in my eyes is something along the lines of this:

    Benji

    K Smith/Neilson
    Edwards
    Mulgrew

    Freeman
    Fuchs
    Butcher/Hoti
    Sporle

    Chalmers
    Mochrie
    Shanks

The Bandit's observation in the minutes of the meeting i put up were correct BTW when he got his dig in about Micky,he roughly said,"Were you happy watching that last season? because i wasn't."
Its easy to say that though and blame the departed coach but a good few of the players who served up that shyte were either signed up or given extended contracts by the very man saying the standard of play was not good enough.
I honestly think anyone who gives contract extension's to Mark Connolly and Ian Harkes has very very limited footballing knowledge and unfortunately this man has powers akin to that of the legendary Jim McLean which to say the least is a major worry for the future of our club.

This is the really strange perplexing part of it for me GB. You'd expect a rookie Director of Football/Sporting Director to make understandable mistakes in the admin part of his role, but you wouldn't expect a rookie who was/is a football agent to make judgement errors on players. And these are serious errors of judgement. I'm not in the mood tonight to put 7 names up but I'm sure you all know the players I'm referring to.

I can only put it down to how easy it can become for some when you're not spending your own money.

Exactly how i feel, Harkes never gets dropped, please someone tell me im the 3 years he has been here, what he has improved in his game from day one to now, he does a great pass now and again then load passes could not hit barn door, i will prob get slated for saying this , but what has Harkes played so well every week never ever gets dropped, i honestly think TA tells manager he will be playing, you can't be that sh1t every week and get an auto start..just does not add up..
