Thread: United v East Fife

  1. #81
so 4 wins in 4 for 100% Tam, but all the issues in what we lack are still clear to see, still haven't been addressed and should have been the first priorities when Tam took over.

still poor performances and still piss poor in midfield, as said already, the big man/bandits comments on MM style of play seem very unfair now that Tam the man is in the seat and its the exact same pish with the exact same players

i say it just about every day but we need to get signing wingers and creative midfielders

starting the league again with this current squad will see us struggle like f uck

The list goes on, begs the question why are you actually here because it doesn't appear that you're here to discuss United, just to disagree with folk and complain about them if they're concerned about the future of the club we love.
The truth is firstly, I stopped commenting during games because I was letting emotions get the better of me and folk were getting annoyed with it. Understandable, so I decided to avoid match threads, at least until after the game. Secondly I never played any football of any note and I'm probably just not all that good on actual tactical knowledge or such things. Of course I can appreciate great goals or passages of play. I have little time to watch many of the games live due to shift work and busy weekends spent driving quite often. But rest assured, United mean as much to me as they do to anyone and have been a fan for over 40 years. I'm certainly not just here to argue, in fact I'm really not here to argue at all. But my opinion is as valid as the next man, unfortunately I seem to be operating under a different ethical code from some of you, and a different moon to the rest 😉

I simply don't see what's to be gained from all the griping and moaning, will it change anything? Doubt it. I prefer to go with the power of positive thinking these days, I've absolutely no beef with anyone on here I'd just like to see a bit more upbeat comments from time to time.

TA will be going nowhere while the club are meeting it's targets for the owner. They have since TA arrived so if you are really keen that TA goes the implication is you want United to fail. The question I'd have is: what do you want more?

You surely didn't expect this to change overnight with the same squad? It'll take time.

Nah mate, not at all. Anyone who watched us with what players that were available knew a manager wouldnt change anything. However the scripted sh1te from Tannadice would lead you to believe that oor Tam would turn things around and be playing direct attacking football

Then he plays Harkes with Pawlett and Calrk etc. same sh1t different manager eh.

Just watched the two interviews from Courts and Hoti after the game.

TC - "we played really well"

FH - "we're playing a style of football that we want to play and the fans want to see"

    Deary me. 🙈

BUT was this to rotate and maintain fitness amongst the group? i really hope we do not see Harkes, Butcher and Pawlett on along with Fuchs. well i hope so but im prepared and well used to being dissapointed, just like the sister in law.
