I think this is a result of having spent so badly on number 9’s in recent times mate.

Brown Ideye, Rondon, Zohorre and Austin......all absolute rubbish.

Only Odemwingie and the on loan Lukaku have done a proper job over the last 12 years.

Our recruitment clowns seems to be too fearful of another f u c k up so they prefer to chicken out and buy utility “strikers” like Robinson and Grant who can supposedly “do a job” across the front line.

I’d love to see us take a punt on a highly rated non league brute of a centre forward or from lower leagues or some bloke who was hunting his food barefoot with a spear last week.

There is another Regis or Vardy out there but unless you try these types you just never know.
