I've just noticed this on Wrexham's Twitter bio...
@Wrexham_AFC
'The Third Oldest Professional Football Club in the World '
Firstly why would they brag about being third and secondly surely that's our illustrious neighbours in WB?
ETA: Actually I've just noticed the year on their badge is a year older than the Nottingham Florists' founding date so perhaps it is true.

All the makings of a serious rivalry - the world's two oldest professional non-league clubs duking it out at the top of the NL. Radar v Hollywood, bring it on.
Aren't Crystal Palace trying to force their way into this debate now? They seem to think that they're linked to a club that formed in 1861, according to their new kit anyway.
Notts 1862, Stoke 1863 and Forest 1865 that is always been the way.
It's like Yorkshire trying to claim Robin Hood
They're just trying to get a selling point. They're not the biggest club in their city, they're not the best club in their city, not even the most liked club, they have very little about them when they are trying to attract investment
Sheffield FC are the oldest football club on the world and that's it!
True, all the other clubs refer to professional clubs.
