Anyway he’s be gone for 8 months so let it go and stop mentioning him,he’s in the past.

Truly awful first half performance from us. No idea what Lewis was trying to do at the goal. Came for a ball he had no hope of getting. Pathetic. I thought Gurr had a great second half. Quite a dirty team that Livvy lot. Jet has been anonymous since the Hacken game but he certainly wasn't alone in that first half. Hey ho 3 points out of nothing. Onwards and forwards.

Livingston 21 fouls (ie awarded rather than committed the ****ing brutes), Aberdeen 12.

Livingston 5 cautions, the Aberdeen ambassadors of sport and upholders of the Corinthian spirit 0.

And now back to Andrea in the studio.

Well, I think it’s fair to say 3 points rather flattered us today.

First half was dreadful, second half much better but that’s not hard.

Grinding out wins when yer not at yer best is what good teams do though so credit to the team for that.

    A few thoughts:

Liked the look of Gurr - solid and very good going forward. Looks like we’re well covered at RB.

Jenks did ok. Cracking goal and some nice touches. Hopefully he’ll prove useful with a few games under his belt.

Brown was badly missed first half. Whole attitude and approach changed after he came on.

JET is absolutely not a lone striker. He was never in the right place up front, wandering all over the place. He also doesn’t have the work ethic for that role. Do not do that again Glass.

Just further proof we need another striker.

Their goal was an absolute shambles. Mckenzie and Hedges sleeping and far too slow to get out and Lewis far too slow to react to the header back into the box. Getting beaten in the air like that by Anderson is embarrassing.

Gallagher needs games. He’s a solid no nonsense defender but if we’re going to play this fast attacking style then he needs to get the ball moving much quicker. Far too slow and ponderous with the ball at his feet. Considine is similar and it’ll make this preferred style very hard to adopt if those two can’t play at a much quicker tempo.

Wins a win though, onwards and upwards to Thursday - COYR.

I said when we signed the boy Emmanuel-Thomas that he struck me as a Curtis Main/Matty Kennedy "signed on the back of one half decent performance against us" type signing that a cynic may view as lacking fulsome due diligence/basic scouting.
Hopefully Coach G can get a tune oota him but I'm nae so sure.

He's a far superior fitba player to Main but aye, I can see where yer coming from there Sneckie.

Definitely falls into the "luxury player" category.

On his day he'll be unplayable, off it, waste of a shirt.

There's a reason why he's floated from club to club for years.

Note to Glass - again - WE NEED ANOTHER STRIKER MIN!!!

Yeh I seen that pal and yeh some things never change.
For me Gallagher will be a solid defender, not sure of his capabilities to bring anything else to the team but if he does what he is for and defends then I'm ok with that.
Honestly we are a fickle bunch at times
Hope glass sticks with Gallagher and Considine for Thursday because looking at our options that is the best we have, which leads me to say we need to get another central defender in during this window as the other one we do have in Devlin is not really an option, we need someone to partner up with Gallagher that will be a better choice than Considine.

Anyway pal not a bad start to the season we just need to grow on from it, onwards and upwards.

Glass is going to make mistakes, some schoolboy ones as well but he's not as daft as a lot of you have made out. This could be a really good season and if it's not then at least we tried something new.

We were pish in the first half with most of our best players rested and playing on a much maligned plastic pitch. We then came out against hatchet men and won. Fair enough it was by the skin of our teeth but a good 3pts all the same.

There are obviously issues that need resolved but we should all know that it comes to the Nigel's spending money to move the market about. All the clubs up here are the same.

If you haven't enjoyed this season so far then you are a spaz.

Just the feeling that something is being done at half time is a major improvement.
