Hot water at the fitba, I've never encountered at any ground unless mildly tepid counts as hot, which really serves no purpose at all.

The outdoor Turkish baths behind the shed being an exception as is the volcanic mud baths you can have at pittodrie.

£370, no explanation, no this is what's getting done, no this is we can't just tittle tattle and heresay.

    It's ****ing shocking.
Hence my idea about holding back foundation cash till they start communicating properly.

Does anyone know what the problem is? Deeranged, did you not get pelters on here when you were involved on the board and had to justify the actions taken by the club. I seem to remember a thread where it was made absolutely clear that DCC wanted to close the SE and the club did all that it did to keep as much of the SE open as possible. There is no point in going back over these arguments but it seems to me that the club should be able to reopen the SE so that it can be used under the same conditions as pre-covid. That would be a start.

If this is not possible, I wonder if the damage being done to supporter morale by staying silent about the situation is actually worse than a wee bit of embarrassment caused by explaining why the SE cannot reopen as it was pre-covid?

I would hope that the guys who are Ambassadors for 1893 foundation would be aware of the concerns of the SE ST holders and would have been able to bring this matter to the attention of the club. There must be something other than just a lack of will causing the club to take money from SE ST holders and deny them their seats. It's really a poor show from the club.

I was one of the ones that argued constantly with Deeranged over the infamous video of the boys hat getting knocked aff and someone dropping phone (Wee joke) after hefferens winner.

I said then allowing the securitata yellow vests and most respected to bully and attempt to intimidate our younger fans would backfire.....it did......I said closing are the main exit and tunnelling everyone out back would cause us issues in the future.....it has.....I said not going back to council to overturn all tic ruling would come backbyo haunt us as next step would be closure....it's not closed but Derry being closed is like mask wearing, seems to be accepted......New normal.

The yanks and in particular most respected have let the fans down 're the Derry, its not the be all and end all but it's important to the atmosphere of the ground, the money coming onto the club and its standing in the game.

Been documented on here for years what would eventually happen with constant neglect.

Stadium manager.....what a ****ing joke of a title.

The video showed a young child (about 5 or 6) running long the front of The Derry just before Dundee scored and the crowd surged from The Derry onto the track. If the surge had been ten seconds earlier there would have been a very good chance that the child could have been trampled. I agreed with JT and the council that the potential was a bit on the frightening side. That was one of the drivers to make the changes to The Derry, that and some over officious senior filth officer in the stand judging the fans in The Derry.

Council wanted The Derry condemned after that game. It took a fair amount of negotiation to get the council to agree to the compromise of barriers at the front, blocking the end and the entirely unsuitable and completely stupid (IMO) filtering of everyone through entry / exit at the back.

I really think the club regrets doing the alterations and that they wish they'd just bulldozed it.
