That's exactly his point. Kawashima was agreed, subject to work permit, and that took about 2 months. He ended up being sh*te also. Is Niskanen even good? Mid table German 2nd division player?

Am I alone in thinking that McNulty feels **** all like a new signing though? Last season we had him and Shankland, now we (hopefully) will sign him on loan tomorrow hopefully, I think we were all expecting more this week tbh. It does appear though that everyone was right and I was wrong and we were signing no one until we flogged Shanks. I'm away to shake the sand out of my lugs 😉

I think the club probably expected Benji and/or Shanks to leave earlier in the window and some of that money was going to be used to bring in new players

If your information is correct then I'm afraid it's going to open a gigantic can of worms in regard to Ogren, Revolution and the benefits accruing to the club finances (or not) if we recruit and sell a player on without any benefit to the clubs financials.

ie if TA said to MO look I've got this great player lined up who'll get us out of the Championship but when we sell him the club gets zip. Why would Ogren agree to that?

Maybe just to help get us out of the championship?If he is owned by revolution then we only have him on loan so would probably be like any other loan player?Thats way I see it anyway if it is true we don't own his contract?

Yeah maybe Brian, we'll have to wait and see.
It's possible we're not even selling him but the post about his contract status has raised questions which probably won't go away now.
