The National League is tough. Club names and reputations don’t exist. Players the same.
The over reaction throughout this thread is an embarrassment to those who typed away.
Out of the 2 sides Notts will have got more out of that game. Having to put in to practice playing with 10 men. Player fitness. Coming from behind.
Yes some negatives, but also positives to give hope for the season ahead.
After watching today's ''performance'', that, we can certainly agree on.

Whatever happened today(good comeback though lads) has absolutely no bearing on what happens for the rest of the season.

If it doesn't then that says more about NCM than it does NCFC.

If we had lost 4-0 I think it's safe in assuming the panic levels would be noticeably higher. Maybe I'm wrong? I didn't watch the game just going on match reports, considered views and not headlined. Sounds like we got better as it went on, and as someone mentioned earlier going down to 10 men made us concentrate on our current obvious weakness. Defending.

Any injury news? Would prefer any result than a Notts friendly win and a serious injury to a Roberts, Wootton or Rawlinson etc.

Well we will soon see, if the 5 goals we have leaked in against York and Solihull, are indeed a sign of what is to come, which unfortunately i think they are, or are friendly match experiments , which i hope they will be

Is the correct answer, just highlights our deficiencies, weaknesses and gets more (match day) minutes in players legs.

It's all about Barnet away and every league game that follows that.

It certainly is. But pre-season performances can also often be an indicator of what's to come. We were shipping goals for fun in the 2018 pre-season and that ended well.

The first twenty minutes were bizarre, it only needed the refs shorts to fall down, to complete the farce.

I thought we played well after OB’s arrival, some of the old attacking spark definitely returned. I can see the portents for some very exciting high scoring games , and some well bitten finger nails.

At least we’ll be watching this time around. I’m really looking forward to it.
