    I think you understood my analogy perfectly well and know it isn't about cars. If we end up with 3 strikers then we could simply play 1 up top and a mix of midfielders backing the 1 up. We have an abundance of midfield options. Freddie is in the last 12 months of his contract, may not stay beyond, could sell and reinvest in someone else for the present and future. If I were offered the chance to sell Freddie I'd consider it, freshen the front line.

    I did say I would consider it, would depend on if we had anyone lined up to replace him in immediately etc. I get what you're saying, it does sound counter intuitive, but given his contract situation and perhaps (big question mark) someone offering decent money, he could be an option to go.
