Looks a good signing on paper.
Obviously it’s a good signing and improves them, but they appear to have an essentially unlimited budget. If I was them, I’d be going out and getting (or at least trying to) Tshimanga, Lemonheigh-Evans, Orsi, Whitfield, Armstrong, Hudlin, Earing etc.

What they’ve done is signed one player with any recent experience of this league in Jake Hyde, who is decent, and a load of Football League journeymen of varying quality.

Tbh other than the headlines I don't know how big their budget it. If they are wasting their money as you suggest, marvellous. Great news for the rest of the league.

Jones looks a good signing a first team regular at L1 Lincoln, last season's L2 top scorer Mullin looks a top signing obviously. Now adding an ever present and captain of the L2 champions looks a very solid signing. Doesn't sound a bad approach to transfers, title winning captain and top scorer from the league above. If the rest are varying quality as you say, good.

It's a talented NL, it's an exciting NL with 4 or 5 big name clubs all with great chances of winning the league.

And they haven't got a "rookie manager and a debut assistant gaffa". Looks like with all these big money "good signings" they won't competing with us in mid-table Kelton.

We should be better than mid table TFS
I will expect us to make the playoffs as per the last 2 seasons

Toser has a massive throw, but we have a dead-ball specialist coach who’ll design a plan to counter it before Monday.

To be fair, their signings are probably explained by appointing a manager who has never worked at this level and has been in L1/L2 for years. We’ll see how it goes, they’ll obviously be up there but I’d be surprised if they won it tbh.

I think the weapon to deal with long throws will be Cameron...

Wow that's a quick improvement! Amazing what one 5-0 opening day win can do to change a fans view, even Kelton has instantly upgraded his prediciton

We should and we will be better then mid table cos the manager and squad are both too good not too.

Let's hope so. Time will tell. Theory and practice don't always align!

Are you going today? Unfortunately I can't quite make it.
