The lack of the signing of a striker is evidence if where we are financially, that is skint.

Top six unlikely but we should be ok against the rest who are equally skint and no better or worse than us.

Quite possibly. A few people seem to have taken my opinion to heart. We all see things differently. I just think he's a bang average, bottom 6 defender who hasn't improved how I'd want him to. We could do a lot better imo.

Mind boggling stuff? So.........let's get this right.

A league one club that reached the playoffs (along with numerous other clubs) trying to secure his signature, additionally, we (as a club) were desperate to retain his services, the longest serving player under numerous managers, all of whom played him as first the first choice (no matter who they brought in to compete), gave his all in every game, was an influential figure around the club with the academy...all to name a few obvious points, but somehow certain fans can't seem to see past their 'humble opinion' to realise that none of this would be possible unless, UNLESS.......he was a good player?

We were that 'desperate to retain his services' that we sold him to the first club that put in a suitable offer?

Never been a huge fan of Jamie, maybe I'm just too used to seeing great full backs. Don't dislike the guy at all though, and wish him all the best for the future. It's been no surprise recently that nearly, or every team we have played has targeted his area. (even Robbie)

Great he has came through the academy and hopefully move on to money he can actually retire on.

In saying that, who will replace him? That is another can of wurmz.

Absolutely where I am. Don't dislike him, just don't particularly rate him. A good time for him to go and for us to freshen things up. Hopefully the new guy provides more in an attacking sense along with the composure that Jamie lacked when he got there.

We're slowly building a decent squad. Both GKs, both CHs, the midfield is taking shape, strikers we're clearly lacking. Plenty of them I rate as good enough. The two full backs I don't think are good enough to get us where we want to be. You clearly love Robson and have made that known on here for a long time. That's absolutely fine with me. Shame I can't have my opinion at the other end of the scale without being labelled as some kind of player hater though, eh?

I get what tA is saying and deep down i agree about that - I think we may have got in a better LB than we sold. Although Robson may develop further like douglas and i hope he does. Gave 100% so good luck i awlays want to see ex utd players do well when they have come through youth to first team as its good for our reputation. Lets sort out the right hand side too and get freeman starting.
