Wrexham had the best of the chances and game but seeing as it's their first one of the season infront of their own fans with all the hullabaloo surrounding them plus them bringing in players from leagues above, this was always going to be hardest away game of the season and by and large we did ok. Other teams would have got pumped 5 or 6 nothing but we drew one all. I don't see a good dogged, defensive performance as being outplayed, yes they had the best of the game as you say but they were always going to on that particular night.

Roberts looked knackered when he came on and we couldn't get Rodriguez into the game in the second half but it was a bitty half until they scored which got them going again. I don't really know what people expect, if they expect us to go away to Wrexham with the circumstances of that night and be all over them then they're deluded. On nights like that you take what you can on the break and defend for your lives, the way people are talking we lost 5 nil but last time I checked it was one all. Good result for me away to the league favourites and now we have a run to really get a head of steam. I don't believe we'll win the league but do believe we'll get into the playoffs and then we'll have to see what happens.

We would be delighted, 2-0 is what I class a professional scoreline. Job done regardless of the opposition, but as we know it's clearly not comparing like for like. After 10 games everyone wil have played the good , the bad and the long ball.

I've bet on Chesterfield to win the league and I'm not surprised they've put the teams they've played to the sword. They were very impressive in the second half of last season and have spent some dosh in the close season to add to an already good squad.

IB doesn't need a pass, he had genuine reason, we got a very good point away at a title favourite. Agree in hindsight playing them both from the start would probably have been detrimental to out chances.

Those two should be nicely rested for a home game where we will be on the ball a lot more, and in the opponent's half a lot more...... hopefully.

I think I have a different definition of outplayed than some that's all. I don't see them having most of the play as us being outplayed, there's different ways to approach games. For example take Mourinho at Inter, they were 'outplayed' by Barca but they still won the champions league so I don't see having lots of the ball as being outplayed. As you say that was always going to be a tough night and it proved so but outplayed suggests a beating and it was anything but.

No better example than Simeone's Atletico Madrid, almost every time I see them play in the Champions League they are 'dominated' in terms of possession. It's just the manager's style and it works.

If you read their forum that actually seems to be most of their fans opinion.

Majority of our fans seem to think we were worse than that.

    That’s football.
