Unless there's a Steve Gibson type wealthy Barnsley fan out there willing not only to buy the club but invest in it too, then I'm failing to see what the alternative option is owner wise other than the foreign businesspeople who currently run it.

The way I see it is that whoever owns/runs the club from now onwards will have no connection to this town or the club. Thus constantly raising the usual doubts, the lack of trust etc as well as the various questions that have been raised over the last 4 years about their intentions and why they're here.

Please can anybody on here who is opposed to the current owners tell me a realistic alternative to what we currently have? What exactly are you expecting? Where do you think it's going to come from and what makes you think it could be better than what we currently have?
