Watched that band of brothers, i no they were frm usa, but must av been same for everyone,digging foxholes,ready for any bombings,you had to be young to av the bottle never mind having to put up wi freezing winters,lack of equipment,missing your family,terrible,suppose it wasnt just about staying positive,survival was key,make no wonder people were closer,for all bad being one of the lads looking up to other lads,getting on in such bad times,most crapping themselves but being a man and not showing it,wow,bet there were some scary laughs.then theres loss,doesnt matter how good you were,foxhole in wrong place,dead.losing ya mates,fighting one on one wi a knife to death.dont know your born,old sayin that springs to mind.
