Yeh but you're right it's not a fair comparison. I don't have a scarf that's got Khan's Tandoori Takeaway on it. And if I don't like a particular restaurant then I can exercise my right to go to another, whereas there is only one Dundee United. To quote Eddie Thompson - 'You can change your house,your wife, your car but you can never change your team.' There is no choice.

Now I get where you are coming from about how Clubs are businesses and 'not caring about fans' and I can see why some guys can see not buying tickets and not going to support your team as a way to 'protest'. But to me that potentially hurts the one thing we all care about, the eleven on the pitch, through lack of support and lack of finance which eventually can only mean one thing - an ever downward spiral to further deterioration and 'lack of quality'. Look no further than 250 yards up the Street for a historical prime example. And as United supporters, who on earth would want that?
