    It was so blatantly obvious to fans that we needed cover for Wilson given his injury record in the last 3 seasons but the A-holes running our club refused to acknowledge it

    Looks like it will be Joelinton up against Maguire and Varane tomorrow!

    Anyone know if Almiron is banned?

    Almiron is ok to play-the sanction hasn't been applied.

    As for Wilson, it will come as a surprise to precisely no-one, which makes it even more a dereliction of duty that the morons 'running'* the club knew his injury record meant that another lengthy spell out was on the cards yet they still did nothing about it.


    *running is a letter away from ruining...a much more apt word.

    I agree. I find it hard to laugh at Sunderland despite their plight as we could EASILY be in their position with the under-investment and mismanagement by Ashley and co. Hopefully we're not playing them in the Championship next season
