Actually that is legally incorrect. The publisher - ie the msgboard host - is ENTIRELY liable.
I'm sorry to hear that they seem to have little control or interest in the content that they are allowing to be published or those iriginating it.
Most of the time it'll be Ok but if things go t**s up on something they won't have a leg to stand on.
