BB’s response may have been a bit harsh. But, I’m intrigued as to what you base your prediction on… Notts aren’t good enough, expectation that Notts will let you/us down eventually, Weymouth are to good etc

A little bit of Notts may not be as good as many think, plus the memory that when nearly everyone predicts a win it often goes tits up. It's mainly it's down to the odds though, because I think Weymouth might be overpriced. I see the 18/1 on offer for my prediction as value.

I'm obviously hoping for a Notts win, and I have a suspicion based on the first four games that our style of play may be better suited to playing away than at home. Not enough of a suspicion to make me take the skinny odds on a Notts win at the moment though.

I’m not a betting expert by any stretch of the imagination. But, 18/1 in a 2 horse race looks very generous and taking into account Weymouth’s recent results.

I’m relatively confident of 2-0 victory. Certainly optimistic of a better performance than last season.

That memory is correct and very recent. Torquay at home with the vast majority of fans predicting a Notts win before kick-off following the opening day results of both teams. Even the resident NCM miseries predicted a positive result!! Was the kiss of death naturally.

Could do with some of them reappearing before kick off to predict a Notts defeat and increase the chances of a victory down in Weymouth.

    Optimism running high

    Win 31
    Draw 8
    Loss 1

Can't remember positivity like this for a long time!
