We have very little in the way of successful history.
And because of this most people surrounding the club have thought small.
If you think small - you will always be small.
These current owners don’t think in that way.

Barnsley is a medium sized town - but it’s a big town when considering the high percentage of football enthusiasts living within it.
Not many places are football and cricket crazy like Barnsley.

Unlike many clubs around us - the potential of Barnsley Football Club has never been realised - basically because we have never had any period of lengthy success.
A high in fortune has soon been followed by a dip.

I’ll not say much here about this topic - as IMO it’s a big subject that deserves its own thread.
