I think some people feel the need to get their hooks into a new signing, early on, then if the player they have chosen to target, does prove to be a dud, they can revel in his failure and make out they are some sort of football guru. If their targeted player does turn out to be ok they just remain silent and wait for the next season's victim. Of course there will be some duff signings, but Nemane has had no where near enough minutes to prove himself, the same applies to Ed Francis.

    Me neither.

In term of starts, I agree. Really interesting to see our starting 11 and formation on Tuesday.

Absolutely nailed it. If you've not spotted this NCM trend by now you have to be very blinkered. Thankfully it's only adopted by a select few.

Hopefully nowhere near me! After consulting the fixture list I've booked 19 days in the Algarve departing the day after we are at home to Woking, and returning the day before we are at home to Stockport. At worse I will miss a home game in the FA Trophy. The flights from EMA cost £9.99 each way, a total of £39.96 for return flights to Portugal for two!!! The weather at that time of year is mostly dry and sunny, with temperatures in the mid twenties. As a bonus, the apartments we have booked overlook the training ground of my Portuguese Primeira Liga team Portimonense, who play in black and white stripes and have made a decent start to the season.

Looks like the Alvinegros are away at Benfica the day after we play Woking and won't have a league fixture until after you return. Unlucky timing!

That's the big disappointment, it's been buggered by the international break. I've watched them play twice, and their stadium only holds 5,000. Unless they're playing Benfica, Porto or Sporting Lisbon it's fairly easy to get a 10 euro ticket.

A pic of their training ground taken from inside the kitchen as I was cooking dinner!

    A future Notts transfer?

The National League is home to a treasure trove of exceptional talent that you sense could easily play in the Football League.

And one player to keep an eye on is Weymouth's young Belgian midfielder Omar Mussa.

Weymouth signed him on a free transfer from Dover and the former Belgian under-18 international looks a seriously good prospect.

He's got good feet, he carries a big presence and was very strong that some Notts players just bounced off him.

Weymouth manager Brian Stock says the sky is the limit in terms of his potential having said there is a bit of Paul Pogba about him.

And his performance did not go unnoticed by Notts head coach Ian Burchnall in his post-match analysis having admitted he too was impressed by Mussa's display.

He was perhaps fortunate to escape a red card when he appeared to kick out at Callum Roberts which proved he has a bit of an edge to his game.

You can see why Weymouth fans love him and at 21 he will continue to get better. Notts love to sign young players with bright futures ahead of them.

He ticks all the boxes of being a future Notts transfer.

Assume this lad is their best player ?

Would command a hefty transfer fee like Tshimanga. Cue Wrexham, Stockport and Chessie then.

    Or a league club.

    Great story.

Thanks to the magic of PMs it turns out Banjo and I share a favourite place in the Algarve.
