Bad day at the office, or is it what we all feared?
Roberts again comes on for Rodrigo, but with exactly the same impact
With injuries at CB, and lacking cutting edge up front, the time must be for Gelhardt/Greenwood/Summerville, and also Cresswell & new guy from Celtic. Team needs something different.
Personally would like to see 2 up front.

The Celtic lad looks promising, Leo Hjelde. CB and left sided.

Big game (they all are) coming up. I am expecting to see some younger lads coming through in the course of this season.

We seem to struggle with options when we have t ball in our third it’s almost as if we stretch the ply too early and have to hit low percentage passes when get picked off.

We work hard but maybe we need to work smarter in midfield or perhaps as Joel says we just lack too much in the middle.

Think we will still beat the drop but they need to work that out soon.

Passing wasn’t up to par today, not interceptions but poor passing, needs looking at and working on, just like at Burnley, not acceptable.

Not good across the board. Wambam really needs to sharpen the shooting and get that first touch right. Think all his running and general work rate leaves him punctured when it comes to the vinegar stroke. Firpo....the jury is out.

Billy, does your ass need chewed or what?

I have got to say that IMHO it was simply an unfortunate accident as I believe Pascal got the ball cleanly. I also believe that Klopp following the Referee round nipping his lugs was paramount in the red card being issued.

Klopp definitely influences the Referee but it will be rescinded on appeal.....then again this is Leeds United so don't be surprised if the FA bring out a new rule and he gets a 30 game ban.

Absolutely agree and i think the image (though unpleasant to look at) fully supports that position. Hopefully, we will appeal and the red card will be rescinded or at least downgraded to yellow. Even more hopefully (but less likely), referees will be reminded to make judgements based on the laws of the game and the context and NOT based on whatever unfortunate injury may occur as the end product of an event. Nor should they be influenced by over-emotional Germans (rare though they may be) with big ears and ridiculous teeth.

Since when are managers allowed to be on the filed in the first place he should get a red card. The tackle was fair but as the leg made contact in the following through caused the red. Remember players get send of for intend rather than actual contact.

The ref was a shocker but on the red card he didn't even give a free-kick and played on only once people came running on the pitch the game stopped. It was VAR that decided the red card.
One other thing I hope you all know is that the ref is a Yorkshire man
