That seems to be de rigeur on here. Once someone has invented a scenario around why THEY think something went wrong, they and others bang on about why that invented scenario needs to change. I think the term is confirmation bias.

I genuinely want him to succeed but on Saturday I felt he let himself and the fans down.
It was obvious to a blind man on a galloping horse that we were getting overrun down our left side and it was crying out for a change to be made to stem the flow. But he did nothing!
I've always felt that when you see supporters on TV with their head in their hands they're being overly dramatic but that's exactly what I found myself doing when he took Rathbone off. Wtf?
Now, for the first time, I feel uneasy and believe the manager is walking a tightrope. There were a lot more dissenting voices on Saturday and these will only get louder if the next couple of results go badly.
Surely Warne must be able to see that the current set up isn't working and he must also know that he has a very strong squad for League 1 if he only plays the best people in their best positions.
It's not rocket science Paul so sort it out before you get hounded out!.
    .......and now on to Lincoln.
Even though I didn’t want Warney has manager I definitely don’t want him to be hounded out, he doesn’t deserve that but we all know it can happen

I was just sat there hardly moaning just making hand signals and tutting but taking Rathbone off was just too much and I did have to stand up and shout.
At least it got it out my system before I went home and kicked someone’s cat 😉

    Still I didn’t Boo

    Good point

Maybe it's simple, we have a set of league 1 players, led by a league 1 manager and coaching team

So unfair to expect Championship football and ideas

But we're good at being nice

and most importantly, a league one budget.

The issue is that we have a good quality side with quality footballers. How many times did we hoof it to Freddie?
We will lose games of football that’s not the issue. It’s the terrible style of play and nightmare substitutions.

How we can’t fit Barlaser in the team is beyond most of the fan base.

Every season we sign too many midfielders.
Every season the same excuses come out.
    Every season we hoof it.
Every season we see good players not play in our team yet the same tactics are deployed.

Wiles is a classic example when he’s poor he still leaves him on the pitch and takes off better players.

It may seem unfair but there is a growing number of supporters sick of the same mistakes.

Like has been pointed out if it carries on he wont be here a lot longer.
The interview he did at the Cardiff game when he was visibly upset has bought him some time.
Let’s hope he ditches this formation because we don’t have wingbacks.

Stop trying to make a player into something he isn’t
Agreed, I think sometimes they do too many coaching courses and watch the top flight and think they can mimic it, not sure you can at this level these players are great footballers certainly a lot better than any of us lot but they are not premier league level either and and it is best to keep it simple and play a right back at right back etc. I do agree that he has done a lot for the club and the image of the club is better for his efforts, the issue is the style of football and repeating the same mistakes. I hope he learns fast and gets the best from a very decent squad of League 1 footballers

Sounds like Ferguson won't be available for tomorrow night. Don't know if Miller is still suspended either way he doesn't strike me as a player who will stand up & be counted when you need to battle to get something out of a game. Wiles in league 1 can play on the left. Will have to play Odoffin at centre back if we are going 4 at the back. 4-4-2 we'd be outnumbered in midfield so would have to be 4-5-1.

Agree with you. I think the way forward is a tactically astute deputy for PW. Barker will slide down the order or dislike it and go.
Warne is an excellent first among equals manager but we need a serious shake up in his support team.

Somebody should provide the final blow to your cracked record.
