Keep trying. 375 per 100,000 is 3.75 per 1000. So 32, not "half a person"

Current daily cases in England 30825
    Population of England 55,980,000
So that means 0.0055% of the country have Covid
    Attendance at game was 8463
So that's 6.5 people at the game who had Covid (and they could be false positives).

And before you say that Rotherham has a higher than average case rate, it doesn't, the average is 385.9 per 100,000 and Rotherham is currently at 375 per 100,000.

I was just rounding numbers to make it easier to follow.

Latest figures for England is 1 in 70 or 10 in 700 or 100 in 7000

So on the basis that our crowd would be at least 7000, probably a bit more I did the estimate at 110

It seems my attempt at making it a bit simpler failed

LOL, even Diane can probably work out that the number of new positive tests in a day is not the same thing as the number of people currently infected in total.

OK so I'm Dianne Abbott too.

But a positive test doesn't mean you have Covid either due to the tests not being that accurate.

Anyway the good news is that cases are falling from the recent peak of 42,076 on September 3rd to 30,825 today.

Overwhelming evidence that the vaccinated are much much less likely to suffer from the corona virus. The ones who are refusing to take this are on a par with smokers who ignore the medical advice on the packet. The statistics are so clear plus the fact it's the unvaccinated who are putting so much unecessary pressure on the NHS.

Are you talking about that ONS report in the Telegraph?

That was based on data from January 2nd and July 2nd 2021, before most people had had vaccinations and before Delta.
Things have changed since then as Delta gets around the vaccines, highly vaccinated Israel has the highest rate of Covid cases in the world.

If you look at the PHE data for the period of August 9th to September 5th 2021 this shows that of 2,381 deaths in this period, 1,659 or 69.7%, more than two thirds, were in the double vaccinated. Six hundred deaths or 25.2% were in the unvaccinated.

We're still vaccinating people for the Alpha variant when the Delta variant is dominant.

I posted earlier this year, about two of our friends who were getting tested at home in a
NHS scheme, & getting vouchers for doing this, with a nurse going to their home every
week, to do the tests, which they were swabbed & tested.
Both have had their vaccine jabs.

NHS asked them three weeks ago to give a blood sample each week, with just having
a pin prick in their thumb, which was then tested for anti-bodies in them.
After having two tests in two weeks, both of them showed they had the anti-bodies in
    them from the vaccine jabs.
Then last week both had the blood test, mate had anti-bodies in him, but his wife had
    no anti-bodies in her.
So is the vaccine only working for so long in people, if so how many in the millions of
the double vaccine jabs people, are going about without anti-bodies in them.
Could it be people have reacted differently to the double vaccine jab.
