    I previously sent Mr Dey a question about Calmac ferries. He did not reply but instead forwarded my question to Transport Scotland for them to answer. The reply I received my reply from an ‘expert’ in Transport Scotland which contained a mistake which basically says it all as far as staff at Transport Scotland are concerned.
    The latest information from the Calmac website confirms Islay residents and tourists on the island worst fears. The hull of the MV Hebridean Isles is phucked and it is sailing tomorrow to dry dock at Garvel for repairs
    resulting in only one Calmac ferry on the Kennacraig to Islay route up to and including Thursday 23rd September 2021. https://www.calmac.co.uk/service-status?route=09
