    Personally I feel that Wiles needed to be dropped for a game or 2. It obviously did him good and it may also do him good in the future as well.

    I know. But he wasn’t in the next team after the Fleetwood game. Warne dropped him to the bench at Lincoln midweek.

    I think I might be missing your point somewhere. I thought you was saying that Gru was proved right by keeping wiles in the side after the last 20 against Fleetwood.
    But he wasn’t in the next team.

    Tbh I got the impression that the jeering was more aimed at him getting MOTM rather than aimed at him or his performance as such per personally
    Mind you, there wasn't really any stand out contenders anyway, almost draw a name out of the hat.

    Whichever way he took it,
    It certainly seemed like he put in a great performance yesterday
    I've only seen the goals on Thogdens match vlog but the first one looked a cracker

    A few minutes before the first he blazed one over with his left foot from a similar position.
    He was just getting his eye in.

    I was just replying to uttis when he said to gru;
    "Gru how arrogant are you? Far from saying Wiles would come good you have consistently said he shouldn’t be in the team"

    But from what I read last week it was gru who backed Wiles to stay in the team. Although I have to admit I don't read all of Gru's posts so he could have slated Wiles in the past!! I'm just going on what I have read recently.

    A lot of critisising of different players when they have an off day, could understand it if they were under performing week in week out, having said that did anybody miss ICKY yesterday (not me) seems to have gone un noticed. erm. UTM

    I think either all of the Managers or the fans of opposing teams have credited us with being a very good team up to now
    Probably just Fleetwood which we accept really

    Wanderers fan here, but a local one, lived around Rotherham for 40 years but now in Tykes land!! . Really well done yesterday, two good goals and thought your teams organisation and game management was excellent. You’re the only team so far to manacle young Afolyan down the left wing who has been sensational this season but never got a look in. From our perspective it’s just a shame Doyle missed the sitter when he hit the post and our headed goal was disallowed because it could have really turned the game into a cracker. Still, it is what it is and you deserved the win. From what I’ve seen so far, I don’t think there are too many better than you in L1 so I think you should be strongly pushing for promotion back to the Championship and we’ll try and do both you and ourselves a favour next week at Sunderland. As for us, we have little cutting edge and if we are to progress we need to reinforce in January. Anyway, well done on yesterday and I’m now looking forward to our game at New York where we surely must do better than our last visit??
