It is - been to BA a couple of times - great city.

I live over there but been looking at paperwork for her to come and live here. You can get a spouse visa for her here which is valid for 2 years and nine months - she needs to pass an english language and knowledge of UK test). After renewing the spouse visa she can apply for permanent residence after 5 years here.
Bit of a hassle but much easier than over there I can tell you!!
