And if those players can't handle this 1 game, Woking at home, then they might not the players we need for a serious promotion challenge.
Back 5s mean less support for our frontline and massive handover of initiative to the opposition. Unless you've got the likes of Miller in there, even Enzio, who did well at wing-back the last time we played Woking.
I wouldn't mind seeing Tyrese Palmer getting his chance. Young and hungry enough. Could be a hidden gem we're looking for like our great Tommy Johnson, wishful thinking i know

And that’s the worrying thing we haven’t hit the 10 game mark and these were the games we were hoping to capitalise on before the difficult fixtures come. But knowing Notts we will do well against the ‘favourites’……. Just as a matter of interest I was thinking about Callum Roberts suspension with yellow cards, is it some kind of record in Notts history? 🤔

Was it a tactical 5th booking?

Yeah, good call. There's definitely a bench spot opened up for the Woking game.
Let's hope the back-up strikers take their chance when it comes along

On Roberts, IB said he needed to cut out the petulance, abusing the officials
On here, we read about Cameron shouting 'you're a f**king sh**house' at a lino. Talk about how to make friends and influence people...
These two might need to tone it down.

    Here's hoping.
It's more the performances though isn't it, when we're not losing then you kind of gloss over the bad points but then you lose and those bad points come home to roost. Alot of the worry comes from the prospect of another season in this league and whilst yes it's a long way to go and no need to worry yet, the issues need addressing as at the moment we're a way off being the team to beat in this league. I think the Barnet result made the players think they just had to turn up but have found out since they have to put it in for every minute of every game. The issue is also we shouldn't really be in this league so being 5th or 6th isn't where alot of fans think we should be, we should be top 3. As you say it's early yet but I don't like the notion that you can't detail the issues with the squad or you're somehow negative, it's just being realistic.

Detailing the issues is fine by me, not negative for the sake of it, but when it verges on throwing the players in the proverbial bin it seems a bit drastic at this point.

Ha ha well I'm not quite on the level of Durham don't worry, I like Palmer, Mitchell and Cameron for example from the new players. Not sure about Nemane and Francis yet but Francis isn't ready for the centre mid position at the moment as we're too weak there. Vincent must have slept with IBs wife as can't get a look in so not sure about him. Slocombe has been good and bad. DKE and Brindley can't seem to stop a cross, not great in their position. Lacey is great but needs someone with him to do the physical part. I like Chicksen and Rawlinson is a good squad player. Taylor is good and bad in patches but not an upgrade on Miller. Ruben and Roberts let's face it have been a massive disappointment so far but I don't think they're being played in the right positions. Wooters is great if we get him chances. I think Knight will be ok once he's back but Sam is gubbins with an attitude to match.

So far they're doing OK but it's all relative as they should be doing OK, need to stop playing in patches and play more consistently. They have played some of the so called weaker teams, I only hope that we raise our game against the bigger ones which we might do. I can see both sides, yes we have issues but also we're doing OK 6-7 out of 10 for me so far.

Once in a hole 90 minutes of football yesterday did we have an attack where we turned there defenders and nearly scored, the rest was lazy casual half hearted slow pedestrian rubbish against a part time team who could have walked back into position and set up for the next slow build up, it's totally unacceptable for Notts county.
