We hold on to the ball too long because we haven't the midfielders with different ideas of how to push the other team. Lack of quality will keep us in this league till we find quality and splash the cash on it.

You might feel that clubs like Chesterfield, Wrexham and Stockport are trying to spend their way to promotion but if they didn't try they might as well admit they are happy with non-league football.
It doesn’t look like we have more possession, we do have more possession.

Based on your view ‘most of the games get played in our half’. The fact that we’ve only lost one game and won 4 out of 8, our approach must be effective.

Moving onto splashing the cash, did Barrow, Sutton, Harrogate and Hartlepool do that?

Bah! Bloomin' KK coming on here spouting all that fact, logic and common sense. Shocking behaviour.

The fact is, if you wander into enemy territory only once but score a goal then defend successfully for the rest of the game, eleven men back, just booting the ball anywhere, the stats will show you had little possession but the football was played mostly in your half.

Leicester won the Premier League with the least overall percentage of possession than any other Premiership champions before, with 42.4%
