    The other side of the coin to your point is that, if 2 players are marking Cal, which Notts player is free? The other point is that if Cal is marked by 2 and he beats them with a step over, that is 2 players out of the game and Notts have an ‘overload’.
    Personally I don’t see intensity as the issue but rather the players having confidence to play through the lines.
    I mentioned in my previous post that Palmer vacated the central midfield area, and what it did was create a massive hole where Notts CB’s could play a ball to Woots, along the floor. Woots was pointing to where he wanted it - his right foot. The ball simply didn’t go to him.
    Watch it today, and if things are the same as the last game you will see exactly what I am referring too. You will need to be in the Kop to appreciate my point.
