I've been a fan of IB since he was brought in but this is really testing. 3 defeats on the spin against Altrincham, Woking and Halifax is abysmal. 0 points. Burch needs to turn it round and quickly, otherwise I'm afraid it will be another long season at this level for us. We've effectively blown any chance of automatic promotion by mid October which is scandalous.

Burch "Hugely hugely naïve how we played after the sending off. Junior football. Got dragged into nonsense and lost our focus. Not managing the game, don't have a strong enough mentality. Things were said to me on the touchline - in the heat of the moment. I can't see (why goal was disallowed). Leaves us in a position where we look like we're lacking a bit of confidence. Players coming back from injury will be important for us. We miss two leaders at the back. Fans were brilliant, understand their frustration. Entitled to voice their opinions."

Seriously that was crap. We started the game slowly and was mostly Halifax though they were at home and looked OK going forward but we weren't at the races, we did defend ok though with some blocks. Then we scored through their keeper running out 40 yards when he didn't need to, good goal by Ruben. We bumbled along till half time. We started the second half well and scored from a corner. Then they had a man sent off for pushing someone to the floor I can't remember who. Then we had a few attacks but didn't get a goal, we brought Ruben off and DKE on. Then they brought a big man up front. Their first goal cut inside DKE and scored in the near post, keeper could have done better. Then they attacked down the right, crossed it in and DKE was no where near their man and he spotted it in the far corner.

We could have had a pen after that for a pulled shirt and had a goal disallowed but not sure why, seemed fine to me. Then they went down the other end and scored again. No fight in this team at all apart from Jim and those who slag him off don't appreciate that without him we'd have lost easily tonight as he's the only one who puts his foot in pretty much. To be two nil up against ten men with 10 mins to go and to lose is ****ing unacceptable. **** this.

Obviously IB is under pressure now but this is nothing new.

A few factors to bring up he coaches them but they are not really HIS players he doesnt buy them he is coach not manager so player signings arent his fault if duds.

Our best chance was last two years when we had the £750k in parachute payments that is gone.

We should win tonight no excuse for that to be honest.

Not sure the owners will sack him as he is their man and they gave Ardley pretty much two seasons.

Or six goals in two twenty minute periods at the end of both games. We need to get a grip and quickly.

Let's face it losing Slocombe, Cameron and Rawlinson has destroyed our defence and taken leadership and experience out of it. It's been men against boys when the pressure has been on.
