Thread: Time spent by ex-league clubs in the 5th tier

    Looking at the bottom of tier 4, we're likely to get two more traditional names dropping down as it stands. Makes the fixture list a little less depressing but doesn't make it any easier to get out.
    Has the 5th division ever been as competitive as this season? I doubt it very much. Three clubs spending big to try to get out, one of them bankrolled by a Hollywood superstar (and over 9k at the game last night). Yet again, we have picked the very worst time to be at a low ebb.

    This is nothing new. Every time we drop a level or stagnate, more and more clubs get bigger and better than us.
