most of those covid "conspiracy theories" have come true though.

Hancock said the jabs were "only for the old and vulnerable", then "not for children".
Gove and zahawi said there would be no internal vaccine passports.

"progressives" love war, not because they love death, but because of the mobilisation, they can do things they wouldn't be able to do in peacetime i.e. Increase state control. They tried to replicate this war footing with "climate change" and "diversity" and of course public health. Covid has been their wet dream, they've been able to massively increase the powers of the state and remove freedoms we spent hundreds of years fighting for.

That being said, there is a point to your comment about the restriction on freedoms. The bulk of the government powers contained within the Coronavirus Act 2020 have never been used, but I woud like to see them repealed as soon as possible. To date, only the Lib Dems have been willing to vote for that to happen
