I’ll probably be immediately and ridiculously accused of being Swale’s ‘little brother/rear gunner’ etc for saying this, and I don’t honestly give a damn about that...but it is, imo, impossible to objectively argue against the sense of the above two posts.

I shall avoid the traditional rear gunner observation but the conclusion to the first post you approve of is:

"Looking at these figures its difficult for any sane person to come to the conclusion the government has ****ed it up!"

This seems diametrically opposite to your long standing belief, or indeed what I would conclude from the numbers........

Not the first time Lord Swale has done this.

One can tell the relative sentience of a person by the way they pick up on a missing word, a misspelling or some other minor infraction, rather than respond to the argument.

I'm not surprised your perplexed, after all you seem to base your opinions on a very narrow evidence base, anecdotal sources which must make life a bit perplexing when the reality is so different from your perception.

    .
'One' can also tell how tightly wrapped a person is by their lack of humour, especially when it is lightheartedly directed at themselves

    Just by way of help:

Tightly wrapped: obsessed, or tense, tied up with ones own thoughts or concerns.

Funny whenever you being nit-picking or racist or bigoted, you claim humour, mm you are funny, but perhaps not in the way you intend?

I'm somewhat crestfallen that I'm only third in line for you to have a pop at this evening

Ah but how do you know you were third in line? I might have left you till last for maximum impact!

What I do find amusing is that you think I take anything posted by me or others on this forum seriously. Jeez, I have a life! This is just an amusing way to pass the time when I've nothing better to do.

How would anybody be aware that you had omitted a word and whether that was intentional or accidental?

Much in the same way GP recently, he claims purposely, misquoted Heller and does it regularly. Only people who know him personally would be aware of that............

Anyone with any sense would, if the cap fits?
